April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April 2025

Throughout the month of April Shelterhouse honors Sexual Assault Awareness month and encourages the community to join us in supporting survivors and educating each other on what it means to give/revoke consent.

On April 1st we celebrate the SAAM Day of Action, and on April 30th we celebrate Denim Day to raise awareness that there is never an excuse, justification, or invitation for sexual violence.

If you wear teal or denim this month in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, be sure to tag Shelterhouse on social media!
