This art-based workshop will focus on building healthy coping skills for long-term healing.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2025

October 2025

October is national Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and an annual opportunity to raise awareness of abuse and how our neighbors in need can safely receive support and resources!

How can you get involved?

• Host a toiletry or clothing drive for Shelterhouse clients living in shelter
• Display flyers or resource cards in your business/office/classroom for anyone who may be experiencing abuse
• Invite a Shelterhouse representative to teach your team about domestic violence and how to spot signs of abuse
• Share our crisis hotline number with your family and friends - you never know who may need support!

School Supply Drive

The 2025-2026 school year is right around the corner, and our families and kiddos at Shelterhouse could really use your help gathering school supplies:

• Pencils / pens
• Wide & college-ruled notebooks
• Loose-leaf paper
• Kleenex & Clorox wipes
• Glue sticks

All donations can be brought to the Shelterhouse Resale Shop where there is a donation box. When you bring in your donation, show a sales associate this page (or our social media post about this drive) to receive 20% off your purchase!
