A Call to Artists: Courage, Strength, Hope Exhibit Slated for October
A collaborative exhibit between Creative 360 and Shelterhouse will be on display during Domestic Violence Awareness month in October.
Submissions should inspire people to open their eyes and be empowered as they recognize that courage, strength, and hope are all around them in their daily lives. To show the raw reality of domestic violence and its effects, the converse will also be shown; the lack of strength, hope, and courage.
We hope this exhibit will open viewer’s eyes to the elements of courage, hope, and strength and their sometimes unexpected presence throughout our community. Those who have weathered domestic violence are especially encouraged to enter as they have used these elements to survive their situations.
Your artwork can be included in this exhibit. Please contact Colleen Reed at Creative 360 of your intent to participate by September 12. There is no entry fee. To learn more about answering this call for art, please visit http://becreative360.org/
