Chefs for Shelterhouse

It was a great evening at the Midland Center for the Arts where we joined honorary chairpersons Paul & Kim White and spent a delicious evening out enjoying the signature dishes of local chefs all in one setting!
Chefs for Shelterhouse is an important spring fundraiser for Shelterhouse. It is held every April and raises funds that help us provide programs and services for the next 12 months. Local area chefs prepare their signature dishes, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts for the event while guests enjoy sampling their creations. The Annual Healing the Hurt Award is presented to an individual who has made outstanding contributions in addressing the issues of domestic and sexual violence in our community. The award is jointly sponsored by MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland and Shelterhouse. We would like to congratulate Karen Adams; the recipient of the 2012 Healing the Hurt Award.
