Community Initiatives

We know we can't achieve our mission to eliminate domestic and sexual violence alone and are always looking for committed partners in our efforts. If you are interested in participating in one of our community initiatives, please contact Shelterhouse at the number above.

Partners in Faith is a group of faith leaders and Shelterhouse staff working together to enhance the religious community's understanding of domestic violence and what it can do to help.

Sexual Assault Prevention Task Force is comprised of area human service professionals working together to develop primary prevention programs with a goal of eliminating sexual assault from our community. Many local agencies are represented.

Shelterhouse Men's Initiative is a group of men who are reaching out to other men to address the issue of gender-based violence.
